2 Page Two Dear Parishioners, We had a nice pilgrimage to the national Divine Mercy Shrine in Stockbridge, MA. It s the chapel you see on EWTN when they televise the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. The Norman Rockwell Museum is also near by. I got a copy of his famous painting entitled Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You with people of all nationalities. Schools are off to a good start. Let us continue to pray for a great, blessed and safe year. I am happy to announce that we have purchased an online educational tool for adults about our faith. The title is Symbolon, the Catholic Faith Explained. It is from the Augustine Institute. Topics include The Journey of Faith, The Bible, Who is Jesus, Why do I need the Church and more. This is only open to our parishioners so you must our secretary, Monica, at stspeterandpaulscott@hotmail.com. She will you back the link and you will create your own password. You must have Adobe Reader for this. Please do not pass this link on to anyone else. We want to track how many people are using this and if they are parishioners. This is a great way to learn more about our faith at your own leisure and in your own home. We will also have the DVD s available in our library once that is opened. I love you all. 4 Page Four OUR CATHOLIC SCHOOL NEWS!! And we re off! Three hundred and ifty four students have begun an exciting year of learning and growing at Sts. Peter and Paul. We now have grades Pre-K 8 with two sections of classes in grades Pre-K 5 th! Quite exciting when you think that in 2008 there were 99 students in grades Pre-K 3 with only Pre-K having two sections. We ask for your continued prayers as we continue to grow not only in size but in what we are able to offer students, parents and this community. If you are interested give us a call. All that is required is that you be a practicing Catholic and regularly celebrate the sacraments. All training and teaching materials are provided. If your child attended last year they will be automatically registered. Any new students must be registered and any new parishioners MUST ill out a census form as well as the registration form for CCD. If you have any questions please call the CCD of ice at and leave a message. Attention Parents of 1st Graders: You MUST have your child registered with the CCD program ASAP. New irst graders MUST be registered even if there are older siblings enrolled in the program. Classes begin in September and we need to have the students registered so that books can be ordered.
