Please call to schedule the sacrament. Preparation Classes are held the 4th Sunday of each month after 10 AM Mass. Marriage Call the Parish Office at least 6 months in advance of desired wedding date to schedule an appointment and begin the preparation process. Funerals Funeral home personnel will contact the parish office for you to make all the necessary arrangements. Anointing of the Sick Contact the parish office to schedule the sacrament of anointing with one of our priests.

3 40 Hours Devotion The priests of the Diocese of Lafayette invite you to join them in a 40 Hours Devotion at Our Lady of Fatima in Lafayette. This popular devotion involves 40 hours of Eucharistic Adoration, and will be staffed by priests. It will begin with Holy Mass at 5:30pm on Thursday (Fr. Russo), December 6, 2018 and will conclude with Holy Mass at 8:00am on Saturday, December 8, 2018 (Fr. Champagne, CJC). This devotion is being offered for the reparation of sins committed by priests. Feel free to drop in at any time during this period for quiet prayer in the presence of our Eucharistic Lord. Please join us in praying for our Church and the sanctification of the clergy. Parish Movie Night - The Nativity Story Back by popular demand, Parish Movie Night will be featuring the movie, The Nativity Story. This is a great movie during Advent to place us on the journey with Mary and Joseph to the town of Bethlehem. Friday, December 7, 2018, at 7 pm. Popcorn and drinks will be served, bring a chair if you like. Advent Reflection Books The Books on Daily reflections for the Advent & Christmas season are available and can be purchased for $1.00 at the parish office while supplies last. Youth Ministry Christmas Caroling Next Sunday December 9th both Life Teen and Edge are going Christmas Caroling. Edge will meet at 3:45pm and will carol from 4-5pm. Life Teen will meet at the hall at 6:30pm and carol from 6:45-7:45pm. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the evening. You must be registered with Life Teen or Edge to attend. Liability forms are a part of the registration process. If you haven t registered you still can online at stjoerayne.org/lifeteen or stjoerayne.org/edge Edge: 3:45-5pm Life Teen: 6:30-7:45pm Life Teen Giving Tree A tree has been placed in the back of church with household items for the less fortunate. Please show your support by taking an ornament and returning with the item listed. Items can be returned under the tree through December 9th. Gifts Needed For Elderly Donations of books, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, magazines, word search or crossword puzzles, rosaries, scapulars, medals or crosses all are needed for residents at Ellington. For more information contact: Charmin Broussard at Nursing Home Ministry Is God calling you to a Holy service for Him? We are in need of compassionate volunteers who can go to each room to remind residents of the Rosary at 9:30am and Mass at 10:00am on Wednesday at the Ellington. We also need people who are able to escort residents in wheelchairs to Rosary and Mass. We meet at the Chapel of the Ellington at 8:15am every Wednesday morning. Let God guide your heart in His will.
