Available in the kiosk located in the Narthex PARDON OUR DUST Plaza Shade Structures: Construction of four new shade structures will soon begin in the Plaza. These structures measure 18 x 18 each and will have lighting for evening use. The concrete will also be redesigned. The anticipated cost of the project is $500,000.These structures will create additional meeting and fellowship space in a shaded area benefitting our growing parish. You do not have to currently be an Extraordinary Minister to volunteer. A Extraordinary Minister to the Homebound has the privilege of bringing the Blessed Sacrament to those who for reasonable cause cannot be present at a public celebration of the Eucharist because they are ill, home-bound, in a hospital or nursing home. You are sent forth by the Church with the Blessed Sacrament and become the link that keeps them connected to the larger parish family, an expression of the reality of the Communion of Saints. Most do not know that she volunteers her time by coming in once a week to clean all of the Sacred Vessels used during Mass. One could say Mary is the reason all the sacred vessels look extraordinary! The next time you see her thank her for the extra care she takes while handling these Sacred Vessels.
