They can be found downtown in front of the Fresno County Jail serving food and fellowship to released inmates, visitors, and others who are hungry or in need. Additional ministries include counseling, grief education, and a food pantry. The Catholic Worker believes in the personal obligation of looking after the needs of our brothers and sisters. 4 The word integrity is related to the roots of words like integrate and entire. In Spanish, it is rendered integro, meaning whole. Integrity thus implies the state of being complete, undivided, intact, and unbroken. It is the bond that holds a man s other virtues together making his life a unified whole. A man of integrity is a man others can count on. They know he will do what he says he will do. We value people of integrity because we know they will act honorably. It is honoring the worth and dignity of all people, treating others with fairness and courtesy. A man that believes he has a moral obligation to help others and to make a contribution to the society in which he lives. He is passionate about the community and reaches out to life. With each step he takes in life he gives his personal best; marriage, fatherhood, friendship, as a parishioner, Lector, Extraordinary Minister for Mass or Assisted Living and serving on the Parish Outreach Committee. This is Mike Maxwell. Mike is the go-to-guy for earthquakes, having built his own seismograph from scratch. And has been called for interviews following quakes in the past. Mike built all the sets for stage productions at the Memorial Auditorium and has the voice that is perfect for radio. While working at St. Agnes he implemented the tune heard each time a baby is born. He is 3 of the 3 who works going above and beyond to keep Holy Spirit in working order, ready for each event and liturgical season. Those who know him are blessed.
