Learn how to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, right here in the Central Valley, by contacting the local campaign at or by visiting: INQUIRY At Holy Spirit we offer inquiry sessions that offer the opportunity for you to examine the Catholic faith more closely. During these sessions participants ask questions, explore Catholic teachings, and discover what it means to be a Catholic Christian. Should you then decide that you want to become Catholic, you may move into a deeper level of faith formation in our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) classes. These sessions will be held in Room 2 at 6:30PM on the following dates: Wednesday, September 26 & 27 Parish Mission with Fr. Pete Prukieniez Thursday, October 18th Topic: Prayer Tuesday, December 15th Topic: Advent These sessions will continue throughout 2019 and will be published in the December bulletins. Please contact Kate Mallam in the Religious Education Office at PARISH MISSION Please join us on September 26 & 27 for our Parish Mission, led by Fr. Piotr (Peter) Prusakiewicz. He was born in February, 1963 in Torun, Poland. He was ordained as a priest of the Congregation of St. Michael the Archangel on May 23, 1990 and now lives in the main headquarters in Marki, close to Warsaw. Fr. Piotr will lead our two-evening Parish Mission. At this time Fr. Peter will bless our reliquary, which houses the Relic of St. Faustina. This relic was obtained by Msgr. McCormick from the Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in the Shrine of Divine Mercy, Krakow. The relic is located in the Adoration Chapel here at Holy Spirit. We are looking forward to sharing this special event with our parish family. CHANGE 4 BABIES Thank you for participating in the Pregnancy Care Center s Change 4 Babies campaign! We greatly appreciate your partnership and support. This year Holy Spirit Catholic Church raised $3, Pregnancy Care Center exists to value and protect the beauty and purpose of mankind created in the image of our Heavenly Father. We moved last fall to our new home in the Tower District. We are experiencing growth as we meet the needs of the community, reaching one woman, one man, one baby at a time!
