4 SS. Peter & Paul Altar Rosary Society Bus Trip: SS. Peter & Paul's Altar Rosary Society is sponsoring a bus trip on November 6th, 2012 to the American i Music Theater in Lancaster to see the Christmas show. Lunch will be at Shady Maple at 11:30-12:00. Cost is $80.00 and includes: transportation, lunch, and a ticket to the show. Pick up at Kulpmont- Clip & Dales at 9:00AM, pick up at SS. Peter & Paul at 9:30AM. Peter & Paul/Assumption BVM Parish Food Drive: The Altar Rosary Society is sponsoring a food drive to help The Mn1 mt C8rmel Area Food Bank to feed the needy. The food is distributed to only Mount Carmel Area residents. We will be collecting canned or boxed items such as cereal, potatoes, rice, pasta, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly, pudding, crackers, etc. No perishable items will be accepted, such as fruit, vegetables, etc. You may place donations in the container in the front of the church. This is an ongoing project. As we receive donations they will be taken to The Mount Carmel Area Food Bank. Thank you for your generosity. l ---, Holiday Bazaar at SS. These are professional performers who are trained by choreographers and arrangers from around the world. You will see 34 performers using 65 different musical instruments, 500 costumes and 1 perform live music, dances and songs from Eastern Europe and even a little bit ' of reland. This group performs in many cities in the U. S_ and around the world. All members 3re asked to joir. in praying the Rosary before Liturgy, receive the Holy Eucharist as a body and attend a short meeting immedia1ely after liturgy. Peter & Paul Church sponsors a "Prayer ntention Line" for the spiritual benefit of our parishioners, families, and friends. Please feel free to call one of the phone numbers listed at the top of the bulletin to request prayers for whatever inten~ion you may have. You may also write your prayer requests in the Prayer ntention Book in the vestibule of che church. Be assured your requests for prayer will be honored daily by the members of the Altar Rosary Society and by all members of our parish. Religious Education Classes: Religious Education Classes for a\1 students in both parishes, from Pre-K to Eighth Grade. Class will start promptly at 6:00 PM and end at 7:15 PM each week. Anyone wishing to have their child (children) participate must register. You may do so on Monday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM. Please bring along a copy of your child's (children's) baptismal certificate if they have not been baptized in either Mt. Carmel or Centralia. nstructors wi!\ be available on both evenings to register your child (children) and answer any questions you may have. Children receiving Penance and First Solemn Eucharist must be ACTVE members of our parishes and complete 2 years of instruction. t is expected that a\1 children of our p3rishes, along with any other interested children from the area, will faithfully attend these very important dasses to iearn more about Jesus Christ and our faith-tradition.
