The food is distributed to only Mount Carmel Area residents_ We will be collecting canned or boxed items such as cereal, potatoes, rice, pasta, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly, pudding, crackers, etc. No perishable items will be accepted, such as fruit, vegetables, etc. You may place donations in the container in the front of the church. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church on Sunday, November 18th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. More details will follow. There will be a $20.00 admission fee at the door. Food and refreshments will be sold. Food items will consist of Hot Dogs with sauerkraut, Bar- B- Q, Pyrohy, made by our Pyrohy workers, home-made vegetable soup, ar~d homemade desserts. Donations of desserts will be greatly appreciated at the time of the auction. We will be coring the cabbage on October 23'd, boiling the cabbage on October 24 1 h, and preparing the Halupki on the 25th & 26th of October. Next Pyrohy Sale will be held on October 17 1 h & 18 1 h, Religious Instructors Needed: We are in need of additional instructors and volunteers to help with our Religious Ed program. Religious Education Classes: Religious Education Classes for all students in both parishes, from Pre-K to Eighth Grade. Class will start promptly at 6:00PM and end at 7:15PM each week. Anyone wishing to have their child (children) participate must register. You may do so on Monday evenings from 6:00PM to 7:15PM. Please bring along a copy of your child's (children's) baptismal certificate if they have not been baptized in either Mt. Carmel or Centralia. Instructors will be available on both evenings to register your child (children) and answer any questions you may have. Children receiving Penance and First Solemn Eucharist must be ACTIVE members of our parishes and complete 2 years of instruction. It is expected that all children of our parishes, along with any other interested children from the area, will faithfully attend these very important classes to learn more about Jesus Christ and our faith-tradition.
