Following the Star When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem saying, Where is the newborn king of the Jews? - Matthew 2:1-2 Have you ever seen the bumper sticker, Wise men still seek him? Where can we look for Jesus today? Do we spend any time and energy trying to find him? Surely, he is present at Mass in the Holy Eucharist. Where else? Isn t he everywhere? Present in every person? With us in every moment? Awareness of his presence helps us to be kinder, calmer, more patient, less fearful, more generous, more joyful and more hopeful. Jesus, thank you for your steadfast companionship.

Online Giving New Online Giving Service Nativity has partnered with a new online giving service, ecatholic Payments, which will allow for greater ease in online donations, as well as for the opportunity to take other sorts of payments online. As a result of this changeover, we will be phasing out our previous online payment provider, Vanco Services, over the next twelve months. Those currently enrolled in online recurring payments through Vanco Services are asked to close their Vanco account and create a new recurring payment through ecatholic. Visit Parish.nativity-mn.org/onlinegiving to begin this process, and please contact the parish office at if you would like help. Thank you for your understanding and patience throughout this process. Note: Those enrolled in electronic payments through the parish office (instead of the website) do NOT need to make any changes, as the accounting office will handle the changeover for those accounts. If you would like to sign up for online giving, visit Parish.nativity-mn.org/online-giving to sign up securely using a checking account, credit card, or debit card. You can give one-time gifts or arrange a recurring monthly payment. You can also choose to give to the general (Stewardship) fund or specify the Forward With Faith Capital Campaign or the Nativity School Scholarship Fund. Content Submissions Online Submissions Text content can now be submitted online at Parish.Nativity-MN.org/ContentSubmissions for the parish bulletin, online calendar, and social media accounts. Images must still be sent via to ihuss@nativity-mn.org. Publishing Deadlines Content is typically required by Monday at noon for the following Sunday s bulletin, while digital content requires at least two business days prior to desired publication. Publishing is not guaranteed, and is generally granted on a first-come, first-served basis, giving priority to official Nativity events. 5 Archdiocese Prayer for a New Archbishop Good and Gracious God, giver of all good gifts, grant to this Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis an Archbishop who will unite us in our diversity and call forth those gifts with which you have so richly blessed this family of faith. May he be a Shepherd after your own heart, a faithful and merciful servant, whose gentleness will bring healing and comfort, and whose courage will inspire. May his life radiate the Joy of the Gospel and his unfailing confidence in your providential care lead us all to a renewed sense of trust. May he be a prayerful instrument of your grace in our lives, empowering us to live out our shared vocation as missionary disciples. We ask this through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
