Accordingly, all parish families will be provided the opportunity to apply for financial assistance for the school year. We encourage families to visit our school's website to access and complete an online application: School.nativity-mn.org. Applications must be submitted online by Tuesday, March 1. School Play - March All are invited to this year s 7th and 8th grade production of Cinderella-Prince Street Players Version. Under the direction of Suzanne Graff Gomes, Jay Korte, and Michael Loonan, the students have worked hard and are eager to enjoy this spectacular show with you. Show times are Friday, March 11 at 7pm, Saturday, March 12 at 6:30pm, and a matinee on Sunday, March 13 at 1pm. All performances will be in the Nativity School Auditorium. Tickets are $5/adult, $3/student, and children <5 are free, with tickets available at the door. We have a special invitation to the senior members of our parish community to join us for a free sneak preview of our production on Sunday, March 6 at 1pm in the Nativity School Auditorium. This will be the final dress rehearsal before opening night. Music The Singers Concert: My Soul s Repose - March 12 The Singers present the Minnesota premiere of a mystical new work for chorus and string quartet by Minneapolis-based composer Jake Runestad. Herbert Howells Requiem is a poignant, stirring remembrance of his young son, sung alongside Thomas Tomkin s elegiac motet When David Heard. Riveting works by Ola Gjeilo and Richard Dering open a concert that is at times both dazzling and contemplative. The concert will be held at Nativity on March 12 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $21-$31 and are available at the door or online at Choir Anthems - Sunday, Feb 28 Create in Me a Clean Heart - Carl F. The gift of healing lends itself to science or medicine, public speaking to politics, and skill with numbers to accounting. Other traits are less tangible but no less important a certain gentleness that touches the vulnerable or exceptional joy that is infectious. Regardless of your talents, they are from God. How can you return some of this to Him? Patient? Tutor a young person! Organized? Run a charitable committee! Athletic? Coach a team of underprivileged kids! Mechanically astute? Help fix a car for someone who can t afford the repair! Musically talented? The choir awaits you! The use of your talent is as unique as you are. Jesus, thank you for my abilities. Please teach me how to use them as a gift to you. Newsletter Nativity is pleased to announce the launch of a parish newsletter which will be delivered on a weekly basis on Thursdays. The newsletter will highlight events of the upcoming weekend and connect to helpful resources on the web. Visit parish.nativity-mn.org/ -newsletter to sign up. God of mercy, be especially merciful to them, for so often they did not know the wrong that they were doing. Lead them to those who would help them.
