Inclement Weather As the temperature continues to drop, please remember that adorers should decide when travel conditions present a risk to their safety when commuting to the adoration chapel for their commitment. Even in the case of inclement weather, however, the chapel will remain open for those who still wish to pray. Substitutes and Schedules The full schedule of committed adorers, as well as contact information for committed adorers and substitutes, is available online on our personalized AdorationPro website. The Nativity Early Learning Center (NELC) is an NAEYC-Accredited center looking for energetic teachers who are motivated and inspired to work with preschoolers and school age children. We are in need of two part-time teachers to work from 2-6pm, Monday-Friday. Candidates should be able to implement age-appropriate activities for the classroom, have good communication skills, and must be Rule 3 Teacher-qualified. They must love children, and be flexible, dependable, eager to learn, and willing to work hard and have fun. The NELC is a partnership of children, parents, and staff dedicated to developing the whole child and preparing each child for a successful school experience. The NCCW sponsors an ongoing Bread for New Life Ministry that coordinates meals for families who are welcoming a new child. Concerts Spiritu Emmanuel Concert - December 4 Save the date! 5 Thanksgiving Day - November 22 Thursday is Thanksgiving, a national holiday set aside by former president Abraham Lincoln for Americans to give thanks to God for his many blessings he s given to us. Please join us for Mass on Thanksgiving Thursday, 11/22 at 9am In lieu of our regular liturgy schedule, we will celebrate one Mass at 9am. There will be no Confessions available. Please note that the School will be closed Wednesday-Friday and the ELC and parish office will be closed Thursday-Friday. Free Thanksgiving Meals On a day centered around a big meal, no one should have to think about where their Thanksgiving meal is coming from. Thanksgiving Meals on Wheels prepares meals consisting of turkey, dressing, potatoes, peas, corn, cranberries, rolls, pumpkin pie and milk for families in need and delivers those meals to their homes on Thanksgiving Day. This service is available to all who need it not just seniors. There will also be a limited number of wreaths, garland, and spruce tips on sale at the lot. As always, free delivery and set up of any Christmas tree is provided for those in need.
