34 Why was it made? Qin Shihuang wanted to conquer death created Terracotta Warrior as a way to protect him in the afterlife. 34

35 Historical Context: Qin Shihuang took the throne at age 13 he wanted to reach immortality Mausoleum or underground palace included thousands of terracotta soilders. 35
