Take a look at yourself and you can look at others differently, by putting your hand in the hand of the Man from Galilee, Every time I look into the Holy Book I wanna tremble. When I read about the part where a Carpenter cleared the temple. For the buyers and the sellers were no different fallas than what I profess to be, and it causes me shame to know I m not the one I should be! Mama taught me how to pray before I reached the age of seven. When I m down on my knees that s when I m close to heaven. We also have forms for Altar Flowers and booklets with information and procedures for Weddings & Funerals. Lenton Service & Luncheon will be at 12pm noon on Wednesday, March 22th. Guest speaker will be Rev. Ray Broadwell. Lunch will follow the service in the Assembly Hall. A generous member of SUMC has given our church two headstones along with two cemetery plots. The church would like to sell these and use the proceeds toward a principal payment on the building loan. SUMC Security Team Volunteers Needed. We are in the process of establishing security teams for all three worship services. If you are interested in serving on one of the teams, please sign the form located in the narthex of the main Sanctuary (Bldg 2) or on the table in the rear of the Assembly Hall in the Ministry Center (Bldg 3). Registration is also available the day of the race from 8:00-8:45 am. Race begins at 9:00am. Breakfast will be served afterward in the Assembly Hall. Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 10:00 am following the race on this day. Sunday School Teachers Needed...Our need for Sunday school teachers currently is for a regular teacher for every Sunday and an assistant on the even months for the high school class so two teachers are needed for this class. There is also a need for an assistant in the middle school class every Sunday; again 2 or more could rotate as assistants every other month.
