Childcare will be provided. There will be a Monthly Prayer Service on Tuesday, November 28 th at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary. ANNOUNCEMENTS The Angel Tree is now available! Please consider participating in support of a Christmas for local children. Please do not remove stars from the tree unless logged out by a volunteer. For more info, contact Bren Feutz at Family Advent Dinner will be held on December 3 rd from 4:30-6:30 pm in the Assembly Hall. Bring the whole family out to make your family advent wreath and enjoy a spaghetti dinner! We will provide the items to make a wreath. You may bring some greenery from your own yard and your own shears. We will place the greenery in a pile to share. Please RSVP by Sunday, November 26 th if you plan to attend. Signup sheets are in the Narthex and church office. The Chancel Choir will present the Christmas Cantata on Sunday, December 3 rd at both 8:30 and 11:00 worship services. The cantata, Heaven s Child, will be accompanied by members of the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra. There will be an Advent Luncheon held on December 6 th at Noon with guest speaker Rev. Anne Walker Sims. All are invited to the annual church-wide SUMM Christmas Banquet which will be held on Friday, December 8 th at 6:30 pm in the Assembly Hall. As there is limited seating, please make early reservations. The cost is $12.50 per person, payable to SUMM, in the church office. The deadline for reservations is December 4 th. The Lord s Ladies Christmas Party will be held on Tuesday, December 12 th at 5:30 pm at Rucker John s on Emerald isle. There will be a $10 gift exchange. For reservations, please call Linda Mack at by December 8 th. The Lord s Ladies is a fellowship group of unattached women, widowed or divorced, who meet every Sunday after the 11:00 am service to go out for lunch at various local restaurants. Please contact Linda Mack if you are interested in joining us. Love Feast will be held on Sunday, December 17 th at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. If you are interested in being a server, please contact Bonnie Bihary at Fellowship Luncheons will resume in January. The youth ski trip sign up is now active! 7 th -12 th graders & their parents are invited to go online at the SUMC website, under Look Here, to sign up.
