1 To glorify God and love others through worship, study, and service. June 4, 2017 Pentecost Sunday James A. Cason Senior Pastor Scott Harris Associate Pastor Worship Services: Sunday School: Sanctuary: Fellowship Hall: Classrooms: 8:30AM & 11:00AM 9:01AM & 11:00AM 10:00AM Vacation Bible School Hero Central VBS begins tomorrow! Please be in prayer for our team of volunteers, and the many children who will participate. We will meet every day this week, from 9:00AM-12:00PM. Our hope is to prepare children to, Do good! Seek peace and go after it! Psalm 34:14 (CEB) Children in rising Pre-K through rising 6th Grade are welcome to participate. It s not too late to sign up, so please visit the walk-in registration table tomorrow morning if your child is not already pre-registered. Each summer we select a special mission project for the children to participate in during VBS week. This year, we will be collecting items to support local foster families. More than just teaching and having lots of fun, we desire for children to experience giving and serving as they learn about the heart of Jesus. Thursday, June 8, is VBS Family Night. Dinner is served, and the children will sing. T-shirts are $8 and are available this morning. They can also be purchased tomorrow, and throughout the week. We look forward to a great week, and have received so much support from our church family! Many thanks to all who have given their time, prayer, and donations.
