"Called to Peacemaking: Christ's Peace--Our Peace" The ideal of peace/reality of war, from a Biblical perspective and Christian history...aiming toward a personal response to Christ's call to peacemaking. Six weeks, with two identical classes on Thursdays (4 and 6:30 p.m.) beginning Jan. 17. Leader: Jim Brewster Winter Reading: The Book of Joy, by Archbishop Tutu and the Dalai Lama. After more than fifty years of exile and the violence of oppression, these two Nobel Peace Prize winners discuss the nature of true joy.
