3 WINTER PRAYER BREAKFAST Sat., January 10 8:00-10:30 am Hearth Room Please join us for wonderful food, caring and welcoming people, peaceful and vital prayer, and communion that reminds us who we belong to and why we would come out on a cold winter morning to pray. We will have the opportunity to go throughout the church and pray in pairs. Sunday school rooms, offices, the gathering rooms, the Sanctuary and Chapel are all destinations of those praying. Please join us. It would be wonderful to have you there! For questions or to let us know you are coming please contact Peg Born, or peg@bornhome.com. Beginning in January - Read the Bible in 2 Years! Thursdays, Beginning January 8, :30-11:30 am Hearth Room Leader: Peg Born Have you ever read the whole Bible? Have you considered reading the Bible in chronological order? Is it an intimidating idea? For many it is until you begin. Then is becomes exciting. And, when it includes a group of kind, thoughtful people it becomes a much anticipated part of the week. Join us on Thursday mornings as we gather to study the Bible. We will take 2 years to have more time to learn what God wants to teach us and to allow for some additional resources to be used. Except for holidays, we plan to meet every week in Come even if you know you will miss some weeks. (No one has had perfect attendance yet!) You may use your own Bible, whatever version you are most familiar with, and you will receive a schedule of the reading. Let us know you are coming and we will send you the schedule. Hope you will join us for this wonderful adventure! For questions or to sign up, please contact Peg Born, , peg@bornhome.com. Page 3
