3 Maple Street News Today is Communion Sunday in the prayer conditioned Chapel. 9:50 am Joys and Concerns 9:55 am Announcements 10:00 am Morning Worship 11:30 am Fellowship time in the Social Hall--join fellow members for a cup of justice Deacons Fund Second Mile offering will be taken this Holy Communion Sunday. The fund is used by the ministers and deacons in response to emergency needs of our members and people in our community. The special envelopes in the pews are provided for your use. Thank you for your generosity. If you haven t done so, please consider contributing to the Strengthen the Church Offering. Annual Lowell Spinners Outing---The MSC Men's Club will once again be taking in a Lowell Spinners game this summer! Join the Men's Club on Thursday evening, July 23rd for a fun evening of baseball, fellowship, and bratwursts! The game begins at 7:05 pm. Let Linda and Tom Manuel know if you will be riding in the carpool to the game by giving your RSVP to Linda in the church office ( )The carpool will be leaving the parking lot in the back of the church at a time to be determined. We will each buy our own tickets to the game at the door.

5 Questions I asked God to take away my pain. God said, No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up. I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. God said, No. Her spirit was whole, her body was only temporary. I asked God to grant me patience. God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations. It isn t granted, it is earned. I asked God to give me happiness, God said, No. I give you blessings. Happiness is up to you. I asked God to spare me pain. God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly care and brings you closer to me. I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said, No. You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, No. I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things. I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as he loves me. God said... Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.
