Following the 9 am service, Rev. Dr. J. D. Landis will be in the Chapel to meet with those who have prayer needs. Following the 11:15 am service, Rev. Sundays, April 28 - June 30, :15-11:05 am Conference Room These classes will provide time for us to get to know each other and move through the progression of membership commitments. New members will join the church during worship on June 30. Childcare for the classes will be provided if needed, and older children will be able to attend Sunday School classes. Please contact Rev. Scholarship Opportunities Midland First United Methodist Church has a long tradition of placing a high value on youth and education. We are pleased to announce that First United Methodist Church Scholarships are available. Minimum requirements: be a graduating high school senior or high school graduate have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale be accepted to an accredited college, university, trade or technical school (prior to distribution of the scholarship) Priority Given: to those who are members of or regularly participate in Midland First United Methodist Church to graduating high school seniors or first-time college students How to Apply: Applications are available in the church office. The packets include detailed information about the criteria upon which the scholarship is based. Completed applications must be postmarked or returned to John Engler no later than May 10, The Scholarship Committee will select the recipients from all eligible applicants. 9 VISIONING UPDATE: In October 2016, we held an all-church Visioning Day. Over 100 people gathered to discern how we could fulfill our mission of Helping people to know, love, and share Jesus Christ.
