7 *An Affirmation of Faith: A Declaration of Faith 4.5 We declare that Jesus is Lord. His lordship is hidden. The world appears to be dominated by people and systems that do not acknowledge his rule. But his lordship is real. It demands our loyalty and sets us free from the fear of all lesser lords who threaten us. We maintain that ultimate sovereignty now belongs to Jesus Christ in every sphere of life. Jesus is Lord! He has been Lord from the beginning. He will be Lord at the end. Even now he is Lord.

13 Someplace Else Position We are currently looking for a replacement for Molly Fouracre to lead the Children s Bible Study and Activities. Hours are 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sundays. Pay is $40.00 per Sunday. Curriculum is provided. Class size varies: 3-10 children, ages Duties include informal supervision, 10:30-11:00 a.m. during Choir Practice; attendance at worship 11:00-11:30 a.m.; leading of class 11:30-12:15 p.m. One adult volunteer will also be present each week. Spread the word to anyone you think might be interested to contact Pastor Nancy. Someplace Else Volunteer Sign up in the Fellowship Hall to assist the leader on Sundays with Educational activities after the Children s Sermon. Must be an adult.

14 Christian Education Committee Announces a Family Pizza/Ice Cream Sundae Game Night! Friday, February 27 th 6:00 8:00 Families are invited to attend this evening of fun and fellowship as we play some favorite board games and enjoy some good food! Please bring your favorite table, card or board game ~ plus and ice cream topping to share and a pizza topping to share. The CE Committee will supply the pizza crust, sauce, cheese and ice cream! Please RSVP by Wednesday, February 25 by signing up in the Christian Education Building
