1 Helping Others Follow Jesus Welcome To Asbury. Here at Asbury, our purpose is clear: helping others follow Jesus. You ll see it in practice in everything we do, for every age group. There are plenty of ways for you to get involved, too. From ministries that will help you grow your relationship with Jesus to opportunities where you can help others. Just ask at the Guest Services Desk in the front lobby after church. We re glad you re here today and we want to help you get plugged in!

3 Announcements Next Steps We re updating the Discipleship Pathway! Helping Others Follow Jesus is what we are trying to do at Asbury. There are many ways to say this, but we believe that the reason we exist as a congregation is to live as followers of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we want to help others follow Jesus, too. We created a Discipleship Pathway to provide clarity and next steps for those who are new to Asbury or for those who have yet to make a connection. We started the Discipleship Pathway last year and are learning as we go. We are excited to share a few updates to the Discipleship Pathway that we believe will engage all generations and provide more clarity. We broadened Learn2/Serve2 into separate steps so that all who serve in the church are represented. Adult Discipleship Communities are also now included in the learning pathway since many at Asbury are already connected here. Many different types of small groups exist at Asbury. Some of these focus upon mission, study and prayer while other groups are more about personal accountability. Having a viable and effective small group ministry is enormously important to us. We intend to create a new form of small groups, too. (This is what has been referred to as Table Groups. ) The bottom line is we invite you to join the Discipleship Pathway as a means to deepen your relationship with Jesus, develop hospitality and Christ s love for all, and to serve others in the church as well as locally and globally. Tickets on sale today and February 12, in south foyer or at the door the day of the event. All proceeds benefit Asbury s Boy Scouts. February 11 8 years, 3,700 people and $825,000 worth of free volunteer labor put into 100 organizations in Tulsa Come join us on our 8th anniversary on February 11. We are making valentine s hearts for children with cancer, playing with students at Walt Whitman, and sorting food, gardening, making mats for the homeless and much more! Meet at Venue at 8:15 am, choose your place to serve, a bus will get you there, and you will be back by 12:15 pm.
