New participants are always welcome! Summer Adult Bible Study Join us on a journey through Jeff Cavins' The Bible Timeline-The Story of Salvation. In this study of fourteen narrative books of the Bible, one will learn of key people, places and events, woven together to reveal God's plan of salvation for humanity; from its beginning in Genesis through the coming of Christ and the establishment of the Catholic Church. Weekly narratives given by Jeff Cavins on DVD format will be presented. The journey begins Monday, June 3rd, 7:p.m. at St Michael Hall. Study guides are available for purchase. For registration, contact Teresa May Inclusive Ministries SPRED (Special Religious Development) prepares persons with intellectual disabilities to fully belong in the liturgical life of the parish. Catechists welcome their friends into a small faith community where the Word of God is shared through symbolic catechesis. OLMC currently has two SPRED groups (for adults 22 and older) that meet on Wednesday evenings. The SPRED model also provides opportunities for children and adolescents to grow in faith through a similar process within a SPRED group of their peers. Our mission is to coordinate with other parishes in our area to offer SPRED to those of all ages who seek to grow in faith through friendship in a very welcoming and peaceful environment. Join IGNITE and other young adults from the Hampton Roads area for Theology on Tap in Virginia Beach on May 7 th at 7pm at Salvatore s Pizzeria (4876 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach). Bishop Francis DiLorenzo will be speaking on Media Portrayal of the Catholic Church: Dispelling the Myths. Cover is $2 at the door for a chance to win a raffle at the end of the evening. Liturgical Ministries Lector Training ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING A LECTOR for out Liturgies? Funeral Receptions The Funeral Reception Ministry provides a reception for grieving family and friends after the funeral of a loved one. The ministry is truly appreciated by friends and family of the deceased. We welcome and need many hands to take part in this labor of love for one another. There are several ways to participate in the ministry: organizing & planning; serving & clean-up; or providing food. Nursery Our nursery is a CO-Op Nursery, currently at the 10am Mass, staffed by parents who utilize the nursery and volunteer about one Sunday per month. It is a place for children ages 1 to 4 years old to come together to worship, learn about God and grow in their faith development through Bible stories, songs and activities. Please call Heather, or Christa, , x 119 for more information or to register. As per Diocesan requirements, we are required to have at least 2 caregivers present in the nursery at all times. In addition, adult volunteers must complete the 3 hour VIRTUS training (go to virtusonline.org to register).

Se esta trabajando para entrenar a personas bilingües para que puedan asistirte en estas clínicas de momento si tu no tienes un traductor, llama a la oficina para que se te asigne uno durante tu visita. Para aquellos que se han inscrito como interpretes estar pendiente de la información, para un entrenamiento de parte de la parroquia. De la manera que Dios nos da la vida, la iglesia siempre esta comprometida a ayudarte a que tengas una buena salud, tanto física como espiritual.
