Box 308, Holdingford, MN Easter Blessings to all From Father Gregory and the Pastoral Team Please join us for Gift night April 19th All Saints-St. Hedwig s at 7:00 p.m. Learn about the history of Fatima One hundred years ago in 1917, Our Lady of Fatima appeared to three children across a six month period beginning on May 13th. She offered promises, prophecies, warnings, and secrets for the entire world. At the last message, over 70,000 witnessed the miracle of the sun, which one Cardinal has called the most important supernatural event since the resurrection of Christ. Though the story of Fatima is endless, Father Gregory and Jeff Johnson hope to inspire members of our parishes to hear the call of Our Lady of Fatima in this prophetic, centenary anniversary of these Vatican approved apparitions. 2 New Evangelization Corner A Prayer at Easter Today, dear Lord, we celebrate Your rising from the dead. We are happy with You that You have been victor over death. We look around us at the green fields, filled with new life, and are everywhere reminded of You. The seeds we plant seem dry and dead, but with the combined wonders of rain and sun, and the powers of the earth, they rise from their death-like sleep and grow green and beautiful in our fields. The trees, too, that stood so stark and lifeless through the winter are now bright with living green. With these reminders of a resurrection all about us every day, help us remember that death is not the end of things for us, but the beginning. Help us keep in mind that we shall rise again on the last day, to live with You forever. Then there will be no weeping any more nor any tears; no suffering, nor any pain, but joy and happiness and love with You forever. With You, then, will we celebrate the eternal Easter. It will be an everlasting spring for us, if we only realize now that there is no glory without suffering, no Easter without a Good Friday. Kettler, Bishop of the Diocese of Saint Cloud, makes the following appointment in the Diocese of Saint Cloud effective March 15, 2017: Deacon Jeffrey Fromm to diaconal ministry at the Church of Saint Stephen, Saint Stephen, while continuing as deacon at the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Opole, and the Church of Saint Columbkille, Saint Wendel. As of this same date, Deacon Fromm is relieved of his responsibilities as deacon at the Church of All Saints, Holdingford, and the Church of Immaculate Conception, Saint Anna. Please take a task card, let the parish office know you re doing the task, complete the card, and turn it into the collection plate. Each person who helps with the task should completely fill out a card. If you re aware of other volunteer opportunities, or you have completed a task, please let the Office know. Volunteer opportunities currently available: Pray a Rosary for Deacon Derek Weichmann soon to be ordained. Dedication an hour of Adoration for our newly Confirmed Students. Fatima Celebration Come join us to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima on Saturday, May 13th at All Saints-St. Mary s in Holdingford. We will be making Rosaries from 10:00 am until noon. There will be light snacks, beverages, a Rosary show and Tell and door prizes. Bring your favorite Rosary stories and old or new Rosaries to show. We will end the day at 1:00 pm with the Rosary as we walk to the Marian Shrines on the All Saints-St. Mary s grounds. There will also be a Rosary prayed in church with those not able to be outside.
