Share the Word Bible Study Share the Word Adult Bible Study is on Monday afternoons, at St. Mary Parish from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM in the St. Francis Room. You do not need to be a scripture scholar to participate. Come every week or when you are able. A Bible will be provided if you need one. Pre-registration is not required. The 8th grade winners produced a one-page letter discussing the persecution of Christians throughout the world. Students were to answer the questions, What does this mean to your families? and What qualities do these suffering people possess? Students were also to respond to the question, Do you see yourself having a religious vocation? First place winners received a $50 prize and second place winners received a $25 prize. Winners, their families and teachers are invited to a Serra Club meeting and dinner where the students will read their winning essays. National History Day State Competition Winners Mary Queen of Apostles is proud to announce that three students had their project earn a third place award at the National History Day State Competition at Carlisle Area High School on May 12 and 13. Jonathan Fontana (Grade 7), Trevor Greenwald (Grade 7), and Hannah Laskowski (Grade 7) earned a third place award for their group website - Septima Clark: Educator and Civil Rights Advocate, Taking a Stand to Empower African-Americans through Educaction.
