It has become very difficult to fulfill these areas of ministries and therefore making it difficult to schedule, due to the lack of flexibility. The need for Lectors, Altar Servers (Grades 3-12), Eucharistic Ministers and Ushers are needed. Each of these ministries is a vital part of the Mass. A lector is needed to read the Holy Scriptures, an altar server to assist the celebrant, ensuring a smooth celebration and finally, Communion ministers are needed to help distribute the Body and Blood of Christ in a reverent and orderly manner. If interested in any of these ministries, please call the parish office to schedule a training session.

The sessions begin at 7:00 PM and are open to the public. There will be an educational presentation about the opioid epidemeic in the region, a question-and-answer session and a prayer service led by Bishop Malesic. When we pray The Lord s Prayer, we ask God to provide our food. Most of us are provided with enough food, BUT OTHERS ARE NOT! We can all be our Father s instruments for providing bread to the needy. World Youth Day UNITE World Youth Day UNITE is a national young adult (18 to 39) festival where thousands will gather in Washington, D.C. for amazing worship, inspiring talks, engaging break out groups, incredible music with Audrey Assad and Tony Melendez, and more. This event, which channels the spirit and vision of the international World Youth Day celebrations, will be a moment of national unity and authentic communion for all young adults living and working in a broken and divided world. Young adults in the Diocese of Greensburg are invited to join Bishop Malesic for this uplifting day. We will leave at 7:30 AM on July 22nd, attend the festival, and then stay overnight at a hotel in D.C. returning to Greensburg the next day around 1:00 PM.
