The Scial Justice Cncerns Ministry at St. Luke wuld like t annunce a change f name fr ur ministry. The term Scial Justice in the cntext f Cathlic Scial Teaching is ften misunderstd. Fr that reasn, ur ministry has decided that we will adpt the name f the Archdicese f Ls Angeles Office f Life, Justice and Peace. As we begin the New Year, we will als nw call ur ministry the St. Luke Life Justice and Peace Ministry. We will cntinue t engage ur parishiners in scial issues and wrks f mercy that highlight respect and dignity f the human persn, including Respect Life (frm cnceptin t natural death), human trafficking, pverty and hmelessness, restrative justice, Fair Trade, and ther related tpics.
