The dg enters an apartment huse, climbs t the third flr and begins t scratch at a dr. With that, the dr swings pen and an angry man starts shuting at the dg. Stp! yells the butcher. He s the mst intelligent animal I have ever seen! Intelligent? says the man. This is the third time this week he has frgtten his key! Smetimes we take s much fr granted! S instead f spending t much time fcusing n what ur persnal needs may be, hw abut if we lk arund and catch smene ding smething thughtful and kind, and then we tell them hw much we appreciate what they are ding? 3 THE YOUTH CORNER THANK YOU! The cnfidence in and supprt given t the yuth ministry is awesme. Thank yu fr yur trust and belief in the directin f ur yuth ministry and ur desired utcmes. FOCUS: Over the last few weeks, we ve been discussing with the yuth that their ministry is vital t ur church, that their ministry is nt just smething additinal r a separate prgram. A healthy yuth ministry is integral t the missin and visin f FBC. T begin this prcess, n September 30 th the Yuth Grup pened the First Service with singing Cme, Nw is the Time t Wrship and n Octber 14 th we plan t d the same at the 11 clck service. On the last Sunday f the mnth, the yuth will present a shrt skit that will prvide a message f Lve Others. Keep n the lkut fr ur yuth being engaged in the ministry f FBC. YOUTH GROUP: The Yuth Grup kicked-ff n September 9 th with dinner fllwed by a mvie, Sul Surfer. The mvie based n a true stry prvides a platfrm t witness the surfer s unwavering faith in Gd, her struggle with lss, family and friend supprt, cupled with a stry f hpe and vercming life s heartbreaks. The yuth will explre the main theme f Gd s plan and purpse fr us. We will use ther mvies such as: Facing the Giants Life isn t Easy Just Because Yu re a Christian GraceCard Discver the Pwer f Giving and Receiving Grace Cnflict Overcming Stress in Yur Relatinships HIGH SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL TOPICS: The 9 th 12 th graders will be explring and learning mre abut the fllwing ver the next few mnths. 4 Wednesday Night Café The Wednesday Night Dinner Café is pen fr business! Jin in the fellwship every Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. A reservatin card, that includes each week s menu, is available in the bulletin each Sunday. Reservatins are due by nn n Mnday.
