3 THE LOVE OF GOD LEADS US TO THE LOVE OF OUR BRETHREN GOD IS LOVE - DIOS ES AMOR!!! A gift of God to us is that He loves us all; we are his creatures, his children; He made us, we belong to Him The other great gift of God to us, is that He allows us to know Him and love Him in return. Another name for God is Love. If the human beings know how to love, the love of our God is immensely greater. He has put in man s heart the capacity to love and the need to be loved as well. There is no greater and most beautiful thing than love To love is to desire and look for the good of the person we love. In the true love, love that resembles the love of our God, we would try by all means to do all the good of those people we love. If this is so, we should pray our Lord to grant us the capacity to love Him above all things and in his love and for his love, love our fellow brethren. The saintly persons who have experienced the love of God tell us, to ask our God to be able to experience the love that HE has for us, for each human being, that this petition must make Him happy, because He wants that we would feel His love and that love should grow in us. I have met some persons immerse in the love of God, who live communicating with Him, as those ones who are in love on this earth. How happy we see these people! And even when they have to suffer trials or sacrifices, everything is nothing for them with the sole intention to demonstrate their love to that Person (God) We have to remember that we all exist because of the love and mercy of God and our goal here on earth should be to love our God with all our heart, soul and mind, and to reach one day to experience the beauty and sublime love of God for which we were created: Beautiful destiny is ours!!! I met a very holy man, a saintly Bishop, a man who irradiated goodness and love of God: Bishop Juan Navarrete, Bishop of Sonora. In one homily he talked to us about the beauty of the love of God.He said: God is the great Lover and that he recompenses, in a special way, those ones who look for Him, love Him and serve Him. He ended his homily saying: My brothers and sisters, love God with all your might and you will experience his Fatherly hugs and kisses, that fill the heart of happiness, beauty and love.
