4 TWENTY-SIXTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME SESSIONS OF FAITH RCIA PAGE FOUR Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) is for students in first grade through middle school and includes Sacrament preparation, and Baptism for unbaptized children. Classes for students of all abilities are held on Sundays from 9:15 am 10:45 am and began on Sunday, Sept 9. REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN. Please visit the Parish Website to complete an application on-line or download an application. BAPTISM The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the 4th Saturday of every month at 1pm in the church. Parishioners are invited to call the office to get an appointment for an interview and place in our Baptism class which is held on the Sunday before the baptism in our Parish Center and includes attendance at the 11am Mass. There will be a special pew in the church reserved for these newest members of the parish. Call 310/ with questions. CONFIRMATION AND YOUTH MINISTRY CONFIRMATION and Youth Ministry programs have started. If you are interested in the program, please go online to Confirmationvc@gmail.com to download an application from the website. We are looking guest speakers and volunteers to help with this program. Was never baptized. Was baptized in another Christian denomination. Was baptized Catholic, but never celebrated the Sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation. Is interested in catching up on or renewing their faith. We welcome you to join us in our RCIA group Mondays 7-8:30pm in the Parish Center. MARGARET CENTER will take place THIS weekend. Please bring pasta, rice, cereal, canned soups, canned meats, canned tuna and canned vegetables, and another need is cooking oil, vegetable oil, or olive oil or corn oil. Dry milk and baby food are also appreciated. We thank you for your continued contributions to our outreach to our less fortunate neighbors. MERCY BAGS will also be collected THIS weekend. In a large plastic Ziploc bag, please put a pair of socks, razor, shaving cream, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, comb, body wash or soap, hand lotion, or body lotion, sunscreen, and chapstick. These bags are essential since St. Margaret s now offers weekly showers to the homeless via a bus service. Thank you for your donations.
