Also, if you see in others the gifts for assisting our ministers in the work of pastoral care, please affirm those gifts and encourage their service in this way. A listing of the roles and responsibilities of Deacons can be found on your Friday Update or requested from the church office. If you feel that you do not have the gifts needed to serve as a deacon or that you are not able to commit to service in this way at this time, we ask that you remove your name from the list being prepared of those eligible to serve by Wednesday, 4/13/16. This list will be available in the Narthex after worship on April 3rd and April 10 or you may notify Stephenie Sanders, our Office Manager. Our 2016 Crop Hunger Walk Challenge is to raise $4,500 for hunger relief efforts here in our community and abroad, and have as much fun as possible doing it! So get started now because the CROP Walk is April 10! Binkley Church has its own CROP Walk webpage for joining the Binkley team, online donations and fundraising: If you want to join the team without going on- line, pick up your packet at the CROP Walk table in the narthex. If you want to donate by check or cash, just give your donation to the Binkley team walker you would like to sponsor or turn in your donation at the CROP Walk table in the narthex on Sunday. It all goes toward meeting our Binkley team goal of $4,500. Solar Panel Initiative: We are making great progress toward our goal of raising $40,000 for the installation of solar panels on our campus. Thank you to the over 70 families who have contributed a total of $28,654 to the cause thus far. Your contributions continue to be welcomed as we strive to reach our goal.
