We are made for friendliness. We are made for togetherness. We are made for all of the beautiful things that you and I know. We are made to tell the world that there are no outsiders. Instead of hearing an Agnus Dei as this morning s Response to the Benediction, we hear the children sing Natalie Sleeth s Go Now in Peace. Much like the final phrase of the Agnus Dei which says grant us peace, Sleeth s piece sends us into the world surrounded by the love and peace of the Eternal One. Today we are grateful for the musical gifts offered by the children from this weekend s Children s Choir Workshop; Colleen Keith Kingston & Kristen Gwaltney, guest clinicians; Jenny Walters, flute; Caryl Price, alto; Mike Davis and Janice Pope, piano; the Chancel Choir; and the Bell Choir. Following today s worship please take the opportunity to thank the participants, their families, and the clinicians from the Children s Choir Workshop at a brief reception in the Narthex before you go into Fellowship Hall for the Intentional Interim Kick-off Luncheon.
