All: We will praise you for your glory! One: Let us pray with joy to Christ at the right hand of God, saying: You are the king of glory! You have raised the weakness of our flesh. Heal us from our sins, and restore to us the full dignity of life. All: You are the king of glory! One: May our faith lead us to the Father as we follow the road you trod. All: You are the king of glory! One: You have promised to draw all people to yourself; let no one of us be separate from your body. All: You are the king of glory! One: Grant that by our longing we may join you in your kingdom where your humanity and ours is glorified. All: You are the king of glory! One: You are true God, and you will be our judge, so lead us to contemplate your tender mercy. All: You are the king of glory!

10 SUMMER SOUL-STICE SERIES Do Justice...Love Mercy...Are You Kidding?! First Presbyterian Church is sponsoring its sixth Summer Soul-stice Series. The theme for this year s program arose out of the separateness and polarization we, our friends, the community, the state, the country, the world seem to be in these days. Whose side are you on and if you're on the other side, you're flat-out wrong! So how do we talk with each other, how do we listen to each other, how do we love one another even in our differences? The series hopes to explore these questions from several standpoints through the eyes of an artist, a psychologist, a theologian, and activists involved in two community outreach programs based on restorative justice principles. What does the Lord require of us?! The Series for 2017 includes: June 6 9:30 AM, Salina Art Center Warehouse, 149 S. 4 th Engaging Through Expression led by Matthew Burke June 20 9:30 AM, First Presbyterian Church Chapel Living With Differences led by Paula Fried July noon, First Presbyterian Church Chapel Finding Justice. Offering Mercy led by Janell Murphy & Ann Zimmerman July noon, First Presbyterian Church Chapel Looking For The Divine. What Would Jesus Do? led by Father Frank Coady August 8 12 noon, First Presbyterian Church Chapel Reaching Out From Within led by LaNay Meier, Diana Smith & Gerald Gillespie FEATURING RIVER FESTIVAL ARTIST: MATTHEW BURKE June 6-9:30 AM, Salina Art Center Warehouse, 149 S. 4 th Matthew Burke, Salina Art Center's Artist-In-Residence and Smoky Hill River Festival Artist: The expression of meaning is a basic human need, whether being an artist or non-artist. The impulse to express meaning, which is creativity, is a natural desire. Is the unifying experience of being around art and making art a model for merciful engagement with the world? Is there actually a divide between any two of us? CONTACT: MARTHA RHEA (785) or marhea43@gmail.com SYDNEY SODERBERG (785) or sydsod@gmail.com
