The topic of the essay will be the philosophy first, according to your skills in choosing relevant information of Humanism. You will be graded in two ways. The second, according to your explanations about how these aspects of Humanism changed people's perceptions of the world. Achievement levels between 10 and Zero will be awarded on each of two criteria, Skills and Knowledge with 10 being the highest achievement being the lowest achievement. 3 8/8/2011 The Philosophy of Humanism changed people's perception of the world. This is because of the 3 main Aspects of Humans which is Individualism, Realism and Secularism. The 3 Aspects will show Philosophy of Humanism in the Renaissance what changed people's perception of the world. Humanism was the core Philosophy of the Renaissance. Individualism, Secularism and Realism are the three major themes of Humanism. These three things changed how people saw the world, and how they saw themselves, Humanism changed people's perception. Niccolo Machiavelli was an Individual person. Individualism is when each person should be free to develop and pursue his or her own goals. He wanted to pursue his own goals and ideas. He made ideas of the government. In medieval times the government was to administer Justice. Machiavelli studied ancient Rome thought the job of the government that should be the state's growth and expansion. Machiavelli thought that the government should not administer Justice but should judge them of the benefits of the state. Although Machiavelli was also a secular person, this is because he made nonreligious ideas. Machiavelli was questioning the government about judging the actions of the benefits of the state. Secularism is worldly, rather the religious in nature. There for Machiavelli did not do anything related to religion and there for he was a Secular person. Joan of Arc was an Individual person because of all the goals she set to do in the world. In the middle Ages there was a war between the England and France. Joan of Arc was a peasant and like all other peasants she was not able to read or write. She was a peasant that raised the C~ntral Government. She was a young womanthat helped bring about a remarkable reversal. She left her home in 1429 when she was 17. She set her own goals like when she decided to help the French win the war. Joan was captured in May The English army and the church accused her as a witch and a heretic, or one who speaks beliefs different from the accepted church opinion. Joan was only 19 when she died.

4 8/8/2011 Leonardo Da Vinci was a realistic person because he showed things as they exist naturally. He was the person who made the Mona Lisa. He was also a scientific thinker of his days. He was curious about how things worked. Because of his desire to learn he was an ideal Renaissance man. All his ideas were real and could be used in the future. With all his ideas and thoughts were the reasons of him being a realistic person. He had dreams that made him realistic. He had thought like what would happen if people were able to fly. He was also an Individual person because he made his own goal. He was also a secular person because he did things that were not related to religion. Cassandra Fedele was famous as a public speaker in Venice and a lecture at the University of Padua. Cassandra was a Secular person because the things that she did like speaking. This was not related to religion there for she was a secular person. Cassandra was also an Individual person. This is because she made and pursued her own goals. Her goal was to become a speaker and so she was an Individual. CONCLUSION With out Leonardo Da Vinci our perception would not be the same. When Leonardo had ideals, the present people on earth today have ideas like Leonardo did. Like when we watch movies there are cool gadgets and vehicles but without Leonardo our perception would not be like this and this is how the people in the Renaissancechanged people's perception. Without Joan of Arc we would not have the courage to fight for what we want. Without Machiavelli we would not have faith. Without the people in the Renaissance we would not be what we are today and the whole future would be different. When might not even have the technology and minds to make computers and finish projects. People in the Renaissance were great people and they made us what we are today. If it was not for them then maybe some people in this world may not exist. The people in the Renaissance were the reason that people's perception of the world changed.

5 y'\l ork - ]I Now that you've done research on a famous person of your choice, it's time to write a 500 word biography on him or her. Here are some tips to keep in mind: Write a title. The tit1ecould include the name of the person you're writing about. Write an introduction that grabs the reader's attention and tells him or her who you're writing about. Write a paragraph or two that includes information about the person's childhood. When was he or she born? Where did he or she grow up? Who did he or she look up to? Write a paragraph or two that includes information about the person's talents and accomplishments. What goals has this person achieved? Has this person ever faced a problem and overcome it? Write a conclusion that includes your opinion about why it is important to learn about this person. What can we learn from this person's accomplishments? How can the example of this person's accomplishments help us to achieve our own dreams? Once you have finished your paper, be sure to review your writing. OR Now that you've done research on your friend, it's time to write a 500 word biography on him or her. Here are some tips to keep in mind: Write a title. 7 Dhivesh A. Gr.71Z011 ISAAC NEWTON Isaac Newton was born on the 25 th of December 1642 at Woolsthorpe-by-Colsterwort~ ~p~j- Lincolnshire, England. His father's name was Isaac Newton and he died few month~ his son Isaac was born (death October 1642). His father worked as a yeoman who is a farmer who rents land and gives his grown crops as part of the money. And his mother Hannah Newton (Hannah Ayscough before marriag~~worked as the farm manager. When Isaac Newton was born the doctors didn't expect him to live because he was so small # 'Mten born his mother said the he could fit inside a quart mug. When Isaac was three years old his mom married Reverend Bamabus Smith and she left Isaac with his maternal grandmother Margery Ayscough. V\.A..\I\- Isaac really hated his stepfather and got really angry at his mother for marryini him. He got so angry that he tried to bum the house his mother and stepfather were living in./ifthe age often Isaac's stepfather Reverend Barnabus Smith died. His mom came home with a lot of money and a few more kids Marie aged six, Benjamin aged three and Hannah who was a baby. At the age of 12 Isaac atten&d a Grammar school called the King Edward VI Grammar school in Grantham. When Isaac first attended the school his mother said he was not going to see her again so he was going to live with Mr. Clark who was a teacher in this school. Mr. Clark's son Arthur was the school bully. While Isaac was sitting down Arthur kicked Isaac. Isaac got so angry that he beat Arthur up and rubbed his nose against a church wall. Isaac finally graduated on Thenj1&.) one summer Isaac was sitting under a tree when Alice dropped an apple. (Alice was the apple tree in Isaat' s garden). Then the apple dropped on Isaac's head. Then he had some questions to ask himselflike: why did this apple fall? Maybe there's and invisible force pulling things to earth? Suppose the tree grew as high as the moon, would thlapple still fall? So why does the moon not fall to earth? And~BAM!!! He said "this must be GRA VITAS!!!" (In ancient time gravity was called gravitas). In 1699 Isaac became master of the mint. (Don't know what it means). Then in 1701 he resigned. In 1703 Robert Hooke died and""~ Isaac became the president. Isaac died on zo" March 1727 he died early in the morning. Isaac's body was buried in a grand ceremony at Westminster Abbey on the 4th of April 1727 all ofisaac's questions were answered but there were a lot of questions still to be answered.
