Stewardship of Time Management 4 QUADRANTS TO BETTER TIME MANAGEMENT adapted from Alex Czarto. We will use a 4-quadrant system to help categorize and understand our usage of time. As we continue our Journey with time management through journaling, I share this quote by Ellen G. White, which I believe emphasizes the importance of our Time resource. MEN S CORNER 8 How much greater prosperity might have attended the missionary enterprises if this talent of time had been thoughtfully and faithfully used. We are each one answerable to God for the time that has been wantonly thrown away, time for the use of which we must give an account to God. This is a stewardship that has been but little appreciated; many think it not sin to waste hours and days in doing nothing to benefit themselves or to bless others. There is no law against these things! Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT) Ever wonder if someone is a Christian? Take a look at their life. Do they express joy? Do they show love towards everyone? Do they display uncommon gentleness? The above qualities are inherent to the Holy Spirit. While these characteristics may not always be evident, it becomes a reflection of how spending time with God will produce these uncommon characteristics. What about you? Have you been spending time with the Holy Spirit to produce this kind of fruit in your life? Alternate-day fasting offered no advantage over reduced-calorie diets in weight loss. The obesity epidemic has spawned many novel approaches to weight loss. One such increasingly popular approach today is alternate-day fasting. A randomized clinical trial of 100 obese, but healthy individuals, divided the participants into alternate-day fasting, daily caloric restriction, and a control group. At the end of one year weight loss in both treatment groups was about 5%, while the control group had a slight weight gain.
