When He does it's because He is working to make us better and stronger and to draw us closer to Him. He has a bigger plan that our setback fits into. Children need to have a hope in His love that enables them to trust in His character while walking down these painful corridors of their lives. For the child facing these crises, the grace that has surrounded him\her, the love he\she's been shown, and the character of the parents who gave him\her that grace and love, provide a natural springboard for him\her to rest in God's final answer to his\her pleas. It helps him/her hope when everyone else would give up. Children don't have the years of experience of Paul, or the extraordinary encounters with God like he had on the road to Damascus. But if they grow up with grace-based parents, the parents become a reference point that they cue off in learning how to trust God through the pain, confusion, or rejection that surely awaits them in the future. - Grace Based Parenting, pg. 109 PARENT(S) s RESPONSIBILITY: Parent(s), you are responsible for your child(ren) at all times. We often ignore bleeding or tender gums, while an irritation or pain elsewhere in the body would mean a trip to the doctor. Poor oral health can affect a person's quality of life. Oral pain, missing teeth or oral infections can influence the way a person speaks, eats and socializes. These oral health problems can reduce a person's quality of life by affecting their physical, mental and social well-being. The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry s Continuing Dental Education Department is recruiting volunteers to act as patients in an upcoming program! Licensed Dentists will be administering a moderate sedation to patient volunteers under the supervision of faculty professionals. The program is designed to teach practicing dentists to provide sleep dentistry to patients that find dental treatment to be very stressful. Treatments performed are in the areas of cleanings, and small fillings only. Please note: Must be 18 years and older to apply and have no significant health issues. Not all patients who apply will be accepted. Patients will be screened on their suitability to the goals of the educational program. Answer: Proverbs 9:10 (NET) says, The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One understands. Basically, this verse teaches that the fear of God is foundational to true WISDOM and all other types of learning are worthless unless built upon knowledge of the Lord. Many other passages talk about the fear of the Lord (e.g. Psalms 111; Proverbs 1:7; 14:27; 15:33. Before we can understand how the fear of the Lord leads to wisdom, we need to define what the Bible knowledge means by fear in this context. 8
