White So careful was the great Healer to direct attention from himself to the source of his power, that the wondering multitude, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see, glorified not Him; they glorified the God of Israel. In his wonderful prayer offered just before the crucifixion, he declared: I have glorified thee on the earth. Glorify thy Son, he pleaded, that thy Son also may glorify thee. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. We can give our time, we can give our expertise, we can give our love, a hug, a sympathetic ear or simply give a smile. What does that cost? Absolutely nothing. The point is, none of us can ever run out of something worthwhile to give. Give and it shall be returned unto you twofold. The fact is if you want your prayers answered, when you are done praying, do or give to someone the one thing you re praying someone else will do for, or give to you. The characters in the four-lettered word FACT consist of seventy-five percent ACT, so it is reasonable to determine the character of a person by their ACT or deeds than their words. Deeds speak! Sabbath School Department: God rules the world through the prayers of His people. Therefore His church cannot be deficient in prayer.
