It desn't have t be yur statin, yu are welcmed t visit any statin and it desn't have t be yurs. Mike cmmented that behind this prject, Pstmaster General has 4 gals is t imprve custmer experience fr every cntact t the Pstal Service, he wants a psitive feedback. Steve nted that the pen cmment/discussin time after the applicant leaves the rm is an pen frum and peple's cmments can create a psitive r negative atmsphere. He believes we shuld vte withut a cmment perid, figuring ut fr urselves what we think abut what the applicant said. It shuld be ur wn feelings and perceptins. Mike Larsn cmmented abut the prefunding f the pensin issue, the plant clsings, request filed with the PRC, and the nging cnfusin amng the media and public that USPS is funded with tax dllars. Gina cmmented n the new guarantee f 2 day service and nted that it's the equivalent f a 6 hur drive r less. Steve brught up Mexican Independence Day in September, with an eye tward the CAC having a presence. Gina cntacted Chrys Faucher. Special Prjects Cmmittee: Stamp Exp: Rbert reprted that the materials were delivered late, s there was nt much t d at first as he has heard. This is actually the 1 st year that we had smene manning the bth all the hurs f the shw pen. Bryan cmmented that he desn t think it was a lt there that wuld be interested t the public and n space fr parking as there were ther events ging n at the same time. We recgnized it as a stamp shw, but we are nt spnsrs as a cuncil fr it and we get a free bth, it is pprtunity fr us t expse urselves t the public. Gina cmmented that she wuld like t make sure that we are very explicit at the meeting prir t it, s we knw exactly wh will bring stuff ut there and what we need. The Stamp unveiling was very cl and it was n cable TV that went very well. Natalie suggested that maybe Special Prjects Cmmittee can put tgether a histry f stamp cllecting and have it available fr next year. That wuld be me mre f a draw t the CAC. Rbert & Betty will take it back t their Subcmmittee and will discuss n the next Subcmmittee meeting and give us a dead line. An average per transactin is arund 2 minute, s if there is ne clerk at the windw and three custmers n the line, they shuld ring fr help and n lnger than 5 minutes wait time n line. St Paul has 9 and Minneaplis has 7 finance units, we thught abut them but right nw we are fcusing t get the 4 visits per statin per year dwn, befre we expand it. Natalie reprted that Gina has talked with Chrys Faucher, Manger f Learning Develpment Diversity Center regarding CAC participatin n the Mexican Independence day n Sunday, September 16.
