Latham Springs, established in 1923, is a campus lcated in Aquilla, Texas, just 30 miles nrth f Wac, seated n ver 400 acres alng the beautiful Brazs River. We prvide facilities and prgram pprtunities t help build Gd s Kingdm. We are cmmitted t prviding ur guests with the best pssible experience. As a Summer Staffer, yu are the feet f this camp and help make it mve. While we wrk behind the scenes, this camp wuldn't be pssible withut us! We play a bigger rle than yu think in the lives f the kids that cme thrugh ur gates! We will have discipleships and fellwships nce a week, as well as numerus pprtunities t attend evening wrships. Being n staff, yu are expected t maintain a level f prfessinalism as well as a warm, friendly smile t make guests feel welcmed and have a gd experience. We are t have a Christ-like attitude, including actins and wrds, in every situatin. Yu are t shw respect t all guests and ther emplyees that yu cme in cntact with. This same level f respect will be given t yu as well. Being a Summer Staffer is very physical. Yu will experience lng hurs in the ht, Texas, summer sun. Yur jb respnsibilities will include dining hall service and clean up, facilitating recreatin sites, night cncessin stand, cleaning cabins after each grup leaves, as well as small wrk prjects in the mrning. These jbs are necessary fr a smth peratin fr students and adults cming t camp. Withut these, camp wuldn t be pssible. Our facilitatin f recreatin sites include rpes curse and zip line, paintball and bazka ball, lifeguarding at the pl r waterfrnt, fishing, and bating. Lifeguard certificatins are free f charge fr staffers cmmitting a whle summer. Yu may be wndering, What will I get in return? Full time Summer Staffers will have n campus husing, meals prvided by Latham Springs, as lng as a camp is in sessin, and a weekly salary. Mst f all yu will receive the benefits f serving Christ while bettering the experience fr thers. Last summer 10,003 campers rlled thrugh ur gates. 688 f thse made first time prfessins f faith.
