9 Jesus Is Calling Jesus is tenderly calling thee home, Calling today, calling today, Why from the sunshine of love wilt thou roam Farther and farther away? Chorus: Calling today! Calling today! Jesus is calling, is tenderly calling today. Jesus is calling the weary to rest, Calling today, calling today, Bring Him thy burden and thou shalt be blest; He will not turn thee away. Mansion Over the Hilltop I m satisfied with just a cottage below, a little silver and a little gold. But in that city where the ransomed will shine I want gold one that s silver lined. Chorus: I ve got a mansion just over the hilltop In that bright land where we ll never grow old, And someday yonder we ll never more wander But walk on streets that are purest gold. Beautiful Isle of Somewhere Somewhere the sun is shining, Somewhere the songbirds dwell. Hush, then, thy sad repining; God lives, and all is well. Somewhere, Somewhere, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere! Land of the true, where we live anew, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere! Though often tempted, tormented and tested And like the prophet my pillow is stone And though I find here no permanent dwelling I know he'll give me a mansion of my own. Whispering Hope Soft as the voice of an angel, Breathing a lesson unheard, Hope with a gentle persuasion Whispers her comforting word: Wait till the darkness is over, Wait till the tempest is done, Hope for the sunshine tomorrow, After the shower is gone. Chorus: Whispering hope, oh, how welcome thy voice, Making my heart in its sorrow rejoice
