[And] makes a cherent and cnvincing case. Overall, Hedges insightful analysis. is a survey and summns that will creatively unsettle the schlarly cnversatin and be f great help especially fr upper level undergraduate r graduate curses. Ian Markham, Mdern Believing, 53:1, 2012, This is a very gd bk. It is the type f bk I am pleased t review. All the majr cntrversies are described fairly and explred in sme detail. Sue Dicksn, Reviews in Religin and Thelgy, 19:4, 2012, a thughtfully argued, well-supprted, fascinating, and invigrating text. [I]t explres the issues, thickens the discussins, and describes a useful prpsal fr mving ahead. Gerge Faithful, Reviews in Religin and Thelgy, 19:1, 2012, has dne his readers a service. His perspective is truly glbal. His accunt f the significance f feminist thelgy is ne f the best I have seen. Rbert J. Schreiter, Internatinal Bulletin f Missinary Research, Oct. 2011, a very useful assessment f the current state f the questin. Mst imprtantly, he pens up a deeper and mre cmplex understanding f the pluralist ptin. I wuld recmmend it as a reliable guide t this imprtant and cmplex discussin. Hendrik M.
