5 ABOUT OUR WORSHIP Today s Call to Worship and Prayer of Confession were written by Knollwood member Mark Jensen. The acolytes are Virginia Ann Churn and Jackson Poole and crucifer is Steve Ball. Please silence all electronic devices. Thank you! Printed music used by permission of OneLicense.net #A FLOWERS The flowers in sanctuary are given to glory of God and in loving memory of Master William N. (Tad) Homan Jr. (April 27, October 15, 1981) and his grandparents, Thad and Mildred Garner by Kathryn Garner. ABOUT OUR BANNERS The Easter banner views Jesus resurrection from inside of tomb looking out. The grave clos reflect note in John 20:7 that burial linens were left in tomb with head wrapping separate from rest. The contrasting darkness within tomb and brightness outside point to light of God s new day breaking upon a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). As Jesus exits tomb, clod in a loin cloth, he is about to surprise Mary with realization, The Lord is risen! The Lord is risen indeed! (John 20:18). The artist who painted banner is our own Bambi Setzer. FOR THE CHILDREN Worship Care is provided for children, infant - kindergarten aged on first floor of Building B.
