Special Congregational Meeting Today: Beth Faeth was hired in March 2017, but not called at that time, following past Plymouth practice not to call interim or transitional, part-time ministers. Due to the departure of ministers since early 2017, and because her performance has been exemplary, Beth has moved to full-time status and is no longer serving as an interim minister. Earlier this year, the Transition Planning Task Force recommended that Beth be called to ministry at Plymouth. This was endorsed by the Leadership Council and passed on to the Deacons for action. This special meeting, which follows the 10:30 service today, has been called to vote on two resolutions: 1. That the requirement to convene a search committee to fill the position of Minister be waived in this case due to the existence of a preferred candidate who is already filling that role. 2. That Plymouth Congregational Church call Beth Faeth as a Minister with our Congregation. Parents and Families of Our Children: Thank you for bringing your children to church. If you need a place to go with a restless or hungry child, the Parsons Room (next to the library) is available. You and your children can hear the service from there.
