3 COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS: Please join Prosper Christian Reformed Church in a Maundy Thursday Communion Service on Thursday, April 13 th, 7:30 p.m. This service will include the Lord s Supper, some of the Stations of the Cross, and a Message from Isaiah 53; showing us that Christ endured all this for the forgiveness of our sins. Nursery is provided. Stride for the Prize 5K Run/Walk on May 27 th, 2017 in beautiful Falmouth, MI. This is a timed race and will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pre-register by May 8 th! ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY This week is Passion Week, in which we remember in a special way Jesus suffering, death, and resurrection; and we will have a couple of Special Services. In addition to Palm Sunday Services TODAY at 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and our Easter Sunday Morning Service (April 16 th ) at 9:30 a.m., we will have a Good Friday Service (April 14 th ) at 7:00 p.m., which will include Communion. On Easter Evening at 6:00 p.m., we will be hosting a Combined Service with several other Churches of the area. We hope and pray all of these Services will be a helpful way to commemorate and celebrate the grace we have received through Christ s suffering, death, and resurrection! This Morning, we will have a Congregational Meeting after the Morning Worship Service to vote on the amended Proposal for the East End Building Expansion. We will dismiss from the Worship Service as usual and reconvene in the Sanctuary at approximately 10:50 a.m. (or as soon as everyone can get refreshments) for the Congregational Meeting. Guests are certainly welcome to join us for the meeting; however only members will be allowed to vote. The Proposal will pass with a 2/3 approval. Please continue to pray that God gives us wisdom and guidance as we seek to follow his will for Lucas CRC! There will be no Sunday School for all Ages Next Sunday, April 16 th, for Easter Sunday. We will resume the following Sunday, April 23 rd.

COME CHECK OUT THE NEW BOOKS IN THE LIBRARY. There are new books in your favorite series as well as some new series. There are also single fiction books as well. There is a new DVD series for kids called Owlegories. This is a animated series that teaches kids about God through the amazing things found in nature and revealed in God's word. A few new family DVD s as well. A new youth series "The Red Rock Series" recommended for 8-12 year olds. Questions, talk to Vonn Benthem. Now that the Church Picture Directories are out, the work of maintaining and updating them begins! One of the really great things about this kind of Directory is that it can be updated as needed. Therefore, please let us know if you fit into one of the following: 1) You did not have your picture taken or don t have a page in the Directory; 2) Your address, phone, or is incorrect or needs to be updated; 3) You should have received a Directory, but did not. 5 FELLOWSHIP FUNCTIONS Graduates High School, Trade School, and College, Etc. There will be a Sign-Up Sheet on the Fellowship Hall table for those who are graduating from High School, College, etc. this year. Please feel free to fill it out if you know of someone who is graduating this year. Don t forget to include from where with the address, so there is a place to send Congrats Cards too! We want to make sure that we do not leave anyone out, when we recognize our graduates with Cake after the Morning Service on Sunday, June 4 th. Thanks, the Fellowship Committee. The Mississippi Mission Group had a van break down on the way to their mission trip in Port Gibson and needed to rent a van to transport everyone back home.
