Family Ministry Following are this week s joys and concerns. By contacting the pastor, your elder or deacons and/or Care Circle representative with items of celebrations and need for prayer, we can share God s love for each other. Our Church Family: Thank you to our mom s Church Family. We want to express our appreciation and thankfulness to God that for so many many years, mom had such a wonderful Church Family. Those were her words. Her passing was not what any of us expected. It was not what we wanted but not ours to make. We are content that she has entered the gates of heaven and is joined with our dad. She has a spot in the pew in Heaven In lieu of sending individual cards of thanks, we will be making a donation to Wycliffe and Winchester Hospital in memory of our mom. Shirley, Ron & Brenda, Brenda & Tim, grandchildren and great-grandchildren Profession of Faith: Today we have the privilege of witnessing the profession of faith of Tyler Luchies, Sydney Luchies and Naomi Geertsema. 3 ANNOUNCEMENTS Police Checks: Morrisburg Police station is now open and able, once again, to do police checks there onsite. Our church's insurance requires children's teachers in this church to have a current police check (in the last two years). Nancy has a letter for you to take to the police station, so you can get it for free, and it is done right away when you hand it to receptionist. We kindly ask leaders and teachers in this congregation to take the time to do this to be ready by next season. Whether you already have a police check, or you get one, please get a copy Nancy Blokland in the church office. MacIntosh Seniors Support Centre provides various community support services such as Transportation, Respite Care, Meals on Wheels, Diners Club, Adult Day Service, Foot Care, Home Help, Caregiver Support, and Social & Recreational Programs. One method of informing seniors of our services, is to advertise them at our monthly Diners Clubs (Seniors Luncheons). Just a reminder of the Seniors Luncheons held on 1 st and 2 nd Thursday at the Iroquois Legion Hall 4 th Thursday at the Morrisburg Legion Hall Soup & Buns, Entrée & Dessert, Coffee & Tea are served at noon for the reasonable price of $7.00 for Seniors & $8.00 for Non-Seniors.
