We will be meditating on the Luminous Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. Our Lady promised, Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination. ProLife Message: On the 7th day of Christmas, my true Love gave to me seven gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. We will need to use these gifts to get legislators to enact laws that protect human life from fertilization to natural death. As Bishop Ed stated at the 150th anniversary of our parish, evangelization starts within our souls. The Church is a wise mother. Eucharistic Adoration & Evening Prayer You re invited to spend a little extra time with Jesus by joining us for Eucharistic Adoration & evening prayer from 56 pm on Monday, Jan. 15, 22, 29. There will be NO Adoration on New Year s Day Jan. 1, or Monday Jan. 8. Our Lady of Peace Prayer Group will meet on Tues., 1/2, at St. Mary s Church, 6:30 pm 8:15 pm. All are welcome!

Our Lady would want us to pray the Rosary every day, a request she made in all her apparitions. She said, The Rosary can stop wars, bring world peace & convert sinners. Fr. Apostoli Everyone is short on time, here's some ideas for carving out time to pray: 1. Download an audio version of a Rosary app on your phone (I like the Holy Rosary, Scriptural Edition by Joe Meineke).Pray it in the car alone & on trips with your kids. One decade takes about 5 minutes. It'll keep your place for next time you use it & automatically go to the correct mystery for the day. 2. Set aside time to pray as a family in the evening a full rosary takes less than half an hour. 3. When you're in the gym suffering on the treadmill, pray the rosary using your fingers instead of beads to keep track of the Hail Mary's.(I know from experience that this helps the time go by easier & faster!) 4. Waiting for your kids to get out of practice? Take that time to pray the rosary. Keep beads with you or use your fingers as described above & you can turn that waiting time into meaningful time. K. I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren t there for the day. I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage. I would have talked less and listened more. I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded. I would have eaten the popcorn in the good living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace. I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth. I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been fixed and sprayed. I would have sat on the lawn and not worried about grass stains. I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life. Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I d have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle. When my children kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, Later. Now go get washed up for dinner. There would have been more I love you s ; more I m sorry s. But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute look at it and really see it live it and never give it back. STOP SWEATING THE SMALL STUFF!!! Don t worry about who doesn t like you, who has more, or who s doing what! Instead, let s cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us. Let s think about what you have been blessed with, and what we are doing each day to promote ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally.
