We have a guest speaker Rev Carol Gully talking about her work at the Rowans Hospice, St Cuthberts and in the Community. If you would like to know more about this charity and the work we do in Havant Borough, Portsmouth, Fareham and Gosport then please come along, and also if you would like to find out about the training we do later in the year and about becoming a Visitor. We have our monthly coffee morning here at St George s Church Hall, second Monday of every month, all are welcome and we now have a coffee morning in Portsmouth on the fourth Monday of every month. Palms Please can you return palms so that they can be burned in preparation for Ash Wednesday. A basket will be available at the back of church for the palms. Waterlooville Music Festival. Tickets for Waterlooville Music Festival 2018 went on sale on the 1st February. Tickets for some concerts could sell out very quickly so to make sure no-one from St. George s misses out get your tickets in plenty of time. Last Night of the Proms 10, and an Early-bird 10% discount for other evenings bringing the advance ticket price down to Best value are the Gold Passport (covers everything - 28) or Standard Passport (everything except the Last Night - 20). There is a leaflet and poster at back of church with programme details, or visit the website for more comprehensive information The Church box office is open this morning after the 10am Eucharist in the hall. 5 Coach Holiday to St. Ives, Cornwall 30 th June 7 th July The Methodist Church in Petersfield is organising a holiday coach trip staying at Treloyhan Manor Hotel, one of five in the Christian Guild Hotel group. The price per person which includes return travel from Petersfield, 7 nights dinner, bed and breakfast in en-suite accommodation and 5 coach excursions is 675.
