3 WORSHIP AT FAITH This morning in worship we will be blessed through the baptism of Max Koopmans and through the singing of our Children s Church kids. This morning we will also send off our high school students going on a service project to Mexico. This morning in the message we continue in the Gospel of John at chapter 15 under the theme, Father s Family Business: Producing Fruit. This evening we re beginning a series on the first two chapters of Acts. We ll be reading Acts 1:1-14 and answering the question What is Jesus doing up there in heaven? PM: Elmhurst Walk-in Ministry. PRAYER & PRAISE Sis Bosman has been dealing with a bad infection. She s at Good Samaritan Hospital for the time being, but is hoping to move to a rehab facility soon. Hayli Huiner underwent successful tendon surgery on her leg this past Wednesday. Please pray for a good recovery in the weeks and months ahead and that this surgery would allow her to go about regular activities smoothly in the years to come. Judy Rispens had a radiation procedure this week to treat a lung tumor. Dan Teune transferred to Providence Health Care in Downers Grove for continued rehab. Remember to pray for those who are unable to join us in worship. Today we think of Herb & Gen Torringa who live in Park Place. Please include Arlin & Fernando who live at Hogar dé Niños in Honduras in your daily prayers. Arlin is deaf and blind, and Fernando suffers from severe problems that make communication almost impossible. Two weeks ago, Ray Middel successfully completed an ultra-marathon of 56 miles in South Africa on behalf of World Renew s Free a Family initiative, which brings poverty relief to families around the world. While in the southern hemisphere he also visited Crossroad Bible Institute s South Africa campus. CBI is a ministry partner of Faith s that instructs people in prison in the U.S. and around in the world in God s Word, through the love and dedication of God s people. Ray currently serves on Crossroad s board. We praise God for Ray s accomplishment and for how World Renew and CBI were encouraged and built up through it. Cindy Wishnew has moved to Peace Village, Village Circle Dr. #2205, Palos Park, IL 60464; Please make note of this change in your church directory. We wish her God s blessings in her new home.

4 ANNOUNCEMENTS Attention Timothy Parents: As most of you know, Faith CRC provides assistance to families of K-12 children who cannot meet the total cost of their TCS tuition. If you feel you qualify for assistance for the school year, the deacons will be will be here at Faith Church on Wednesday, June 25, from 7:00-8:30 PM. Please note, this date has changed since last week s bulletin. Appointments are not necessary and the meeting is typically very brief. As with last year, this face-to-face meeting is necessary if you want assistance, and is part of the Deacons responsibility to those who faithfully give to this cause. Timothy Christian will not accept Faith CRC member paperwork with tuition assistance without the signature of one of your deacons. If you have any questions about the process or need to schedule another time to meet, please contact Randy Huisman, , or rhuisman@setenv.com. It s time for Summer Park Play-dates! Put these dates down in your calendar and come join us at the park! Thursday, June 26, Thursday, July 10, Friday, July 25, Friday, August 1, and Thursday, August 14. We will meet at the playground by the pond at Eldridge Park in Elmhurst on the corner of Butterfield and Commonwealth from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM (feel free to come earlier or stay later). Bring coffee and a lawn chair for yourself, and lunch for you and your kids if you want. Invite friends to come along it s open and casual just a time to connect with other mom-friends and let the kids play. For those with older kids, there is a basketball court there too they can bring balls, bikes, skates, etc. if they want to. If it s raining, we will cancel. Last year we had remarkably nice weather every time, so we re praying that we do this summer as well. Looking forward to connecting with many of you over the summer months!
