Buff Grace, Rectr; Mnica Davis, Senir Warden; Gail Clidge; Susan Ward; Ann Kraker; Rick Brwn; Ben Mattsn; Andy Jenks; Tm McElin, Junir Warden; Melissa McElin; Jim Caldwell; Jesseca Fusc; Chris Tardiff, Vestry Secretary. Vestry Members Absent: David Haslem; Tm Rssez, Treasurer; Kevin Kurtz; Others Present: Mindy Byntn. Vestry Meeting Cnvened: 7:00, Parish Hall, Ascensin Church, Stillwater after a hearty dinner frm Rick and prayer. Minutes MOTION was made by Ben Mattsn and secnded by Jim Caldwell t apprve the March, 2016 Vestry Meeting minutes. MOTION PASSED: 10 Yes vtes Treasurer s Reprt Financials were nt prepared in time fr the meeting, but it was nted that the mrtgage was fficially paid in full. Results frm the financial audit will be ready fr the May, 2016 Vestry meeting. Rectr s Reprt Buff reminded the Vestry abut the visit frm the Bishp n May 5 th t speak abut the Episcpal Church f Minnesta. Mnica is hlding a scial hur prir t the event. Cmmittee Reprts The Executive Grup presented: Creatin f a new Visin Grup Buff presented the plan and schedule fr the newly frmed grup (see attached). The grup is checking the viability f starting capital campaigns. The details f Buff s sabbatical grant were presented t the Vestry. Mnica explained the timeline if the grant shuld be apprved. A search has begun fr a new chairpersn t run Bagpipes & Bnfires. A meeting was held t create a successin plan fr Music Directr, shuld the day cme. Ascend is still n time fr an Octber transitin. Mnica attended the Valley Outreach (VO) bard meeting and urged a vte at their May bard meeting t take cntrl befre Octber if pssible. The Wmen s Grup has their secnd meeting n May 1 st, t lay ut a path fr the grup mving frward. Chris Tardiff answered questins abut the Wiggi system used t data share within the Vestry.

2 The Missin Grup presented: Gail attends the Missin Cmmittee meetings and reprts that everything is running smthly. The Ministry Grup presented: Anne talked abut the frmatin f the Adult Educatin Prgram. Set fr a sft start t determine the schedule fr the rest f May. Adult Frmatin set t start in August. Ben wrked with the Ascensin Fellwship Cmmittee t plan scial events (see attached). Sme events include: May Saints game and pt luck July St. Crix river wrship in kayaks and canes September Dinner cruise n the river. The Management Grup presented: Accrding t Jim and the Management Reprt (see attached), the Manawaring Yuth Space renvatin is prgressing. Tm M. explained that the Fire Panel is set t be installed nce a few parts arrive. Tm M. is lking fr help frm the cngregatin t help pare thrugh the extensive Building Audit. Susan updated the Vestry n the prgress f painting the east entry and hallways. Bids have been received and need t be refined fr updates t the sund system in the Sanctuary. The Chauncey & Inez grant is slwly mving frward, but will still need t g thrugh prbate. A new cffee statin is being set up with n g-live date. Prpsals have been received and are being reviewed fr lawn care cntractrs. Vestry Meeting Adjurned MOTION was made by Mnica Davis and secnded by Ben Mattsn t adjurn. MOTION PASSED: 10 Yes vtes. Decisin made t prceed with a cmbinatin f vendrs with Dave taking the general cntractr rle. Attendees; Dave Drn (General cntractr fr the Manwaring space), Susan, Tm and Jim Wrk will begin n space n Mnday, April 11 th. Fire panel Engaging with Nardini. Wrk has been initiated T save n csts we re switching frm current alarm mnitring vendr t Nardini. The cntract with current vendr ends in June. Tm is taking lead rle. Building reserve audit reprt Tm scheduling a meeting with varius individuals t review cntent. Tm t develp a plan f actin Phase II painting f Hallways/Entrance/Stairway and Basement Wrk has begun. Eric Danielsn has started n repairing larger cracks t plaster areas, especially t the upper side entrance area. Flring by Pian in Parish Hall The flr is finished. There is residual carpet repair needed arund the arch. A carpet cntractr will be cming t apply a threshld t cver up carpet gaps.
