We realize that there are so many worthwhile opportunities to give to during this time of year, and no one can be expected to donate to every organization! We just ask that you choose 1 or 2 of these opportunities we are offering and give as generously as you can! Thank you for helping us spread Christ s love and care for His people at this special time of year! November 30 Duncan Community Residence Personal items (toiletries, lotion, etc.), Coats, Sweaters, Gloves, Hats, etc. December 7 Food For Kids Children will rattle the buckets during worship. December 14 Christians Concerned 4-roll pkgs toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bottles liquid laundry detergent and liquid dishwashing detergent; nonperishable goods especially canned fruit and 1 qt. boxes non-refrigerated milk December 21 Children s Shelter Teen Girl: mascara, lip-gloss, nail polish, deodorant etc. Teen Boy: pajama pants, Chapstick, deodorant, etc. Both: Gift cards to Braum s, McDonald s, Sonic, Subway; Drink cards to Chisholm Corner, etc.

2 a children s kaleidoscope featuring We had a lot of participation in the blended worship survey this past week. We will continue the survey for two more weeks, but if you have filled one out, please do not submit another one as we are striving to have an accurate opinion from our church family. Greg W ELCOME When two teams go head-to-head in a game show contest designed to help needy families at Christmas, they also come face-to-face with big character lessons. They learn the value of teamwork, the danger of pride, how Jesus helps us overcome fear - and that when we apply truth to our lives, God changes our hearts through the power of Jesus Christ. Wednesday, December 10th at 6:30pm in the FUMCenter Attention!! If you didn t get to shop the Bazaar, you will have one more chance this Sunday. Gina is going to be in the FUMCenter after worship to allow people to look and purchase one last time. Help Is Needed Monday, December 1st If you are able, please come to the South parking lot of the church at 3:00pm to help set up the life-size nativity. This project does not require a lot of time; Just strong men and willing hearts Connexion Worship Service 10:00am FUMCenter Hanging of the Greens Traditional Worship at 10:15am Sanctuary Anthony & Jenny Signer and Christian Kardas On Sunday, November 16th, Greg welcomed Anthony and Jenny Signer as new members of our congregation. The Signers have been attending the Connexion service quite regularly for a while and it was a joy to see this young family become a part of our church. Anthony and Jenny have 2 children; a daughter, Audrey and a son, Kipten. The Signers live at 106 N. 28th. It was my great privilege to be able to welcome Christian Kardas into our congregation during Sunday s worship service! Christian has been in Duncan since August and has been attending church here and participating in our Tuesday night men s Bible study. Please be sure to seek him out if you haven t yet met him and welcome him into our church family. If you would like to send him a card, his address is 721 Carriage Drive. Welcome, Christian! Happy Thanksgiving - safe travels and lots of good family and good food! Shalom, Kathy There are so many people in the church that have recently volunteered their time and talents to several different events that were sponsored by our church or held at our church. For all the time and effort spent on planning, organizing, and carrying out those tasks Thank You does not seem adequate.
