( am not ready for hristmas music, yet.) always have enjoyed the hanksgiving time, a time spent sharing a good meal with family. hese times are always filled with laughter and stimulating conversation. don t think things have really changed because, if we look back through the ible we see many times where family and folks shared a meal together. here was the assover eal on the night before the sraelites were freed from gypt. here where the times that we see Jesus sharing meals with atthew and Zacchaeus, the tax collectors. et us not forget the assover meal that he shared with his disciples before he was arrested and crucified. ll of these meals were times that Jesus broke bread and fellowshipped with those around him. an you imagine the conversations around those tables? s we break bread as family and friends over our upcoming hanksgiving meal, let us not forget those who are struggling during this holiday time. or a lot of folks, this is a time of great loss and loneliness. e have so much that we to be thankful for and we should be seeking ways to share in our thankfulness. et s reach and stretch out to our hristian family and make sure folks have a place to fellowship and share a meal with over hanksgiving. f by chance you are looking for a place to share a meal with this year, let me know because we are having hanksgiving dinner at the parsonage this year and there is always room at the table for one more, just like there is room at the ord s table for all who seek od. ow, pass the turkey. eace, wen ontacting wen aylor, astor: hurch: ome: (o ome ater) ell: beaverdamumc@embarqmail.com
