EVERY DAY THEY CONTINUED TO MEET TOGETHER... THEY BROKE BREAD IN THEIR HOMES AND ATE TOGETHER... AND THE LORD ADDED TO THEIR NUMBER DAILY THOSE WHO WERE BEING SAVED." 10 T O G E T H E R We signed up the first or second week we were at Cedar Creek Church to check out a HOME Group. We wanted to connect with other church members. Being in a HOME Group is like hitting the lotto. From our first meeting, we found connections. Ways I could help members of the group to ways they could support me. It was also interesting that most were not from the area. I found that refreshing. It can be scary putting yourself out there. Connecting with people you don't know but you're all there for the same reason 1. To grow in the faith 2. To make new friends in Christ. What could go wrong? It's a blessing all the way around. 14 CHILDREN Erin and I already knew a lot about the Bible and God, but the materials Kidz Creek provided helped us to better relate what we know in a way that was easy for our daughter, Karis, to understand. They took verses in the Bible and broke them down to her level in a very practical way. The topics always seem to correlate to things she is going through or dealing with at school, such as how real friends should treat each other and respecting others. The materials have opened up even more conversation about God and relationships. She frequently asks questions directly related to the topic covered in them. Recently, she asked what to do when someone who says that they're your friend hurts your feelings and doesn't say they're sorry. We were able to talk with her about what being a real friend means and that we need to show everyone kindness and forgiveness even when they don't ask for it. We are so grateful for these extra tools to use to connect with her! Jeremy Beck WEST CEDAR CREEK CHURCH ANNUAL REPORT 12

Also, this is Paul's third time hanging out with his favorite USC-A player, Freddie. He thinks Freddie is the BEST. Blessings! Christy This year 3 churches in the south east have reached out to us for information on how to start a special needs ministry at their churches. One church from North Carolina, one in Georgia and aother right here in Aiken.
16 HELPING FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS For the ninth consecutive year, GRACE Ministry at Cedar Creek Church partnered with Coach Kenny Thomas to provide a fun and free morning of baseball for individuals with special needs. This year's Kenny Thomas Baseball Camp for Individuals with Special Needs was held on Saturday, Oct 14th, and had a record turnout of 26 campers (ages 6 to 30) and 85 volunteers! 23 C A R E A PLACE WHERE THE HURTING, HELPLESS, AND HOPELESS CAN FIND HELP. Care & Counseling is a dozen ministries offering specialized expertise for specific needs throughout the Aiken community. These needs typically focus on loss support and other difficult phases of life. Premarital Counseling: 42 hours of premarital counseling by trained marriage mentors using Prepare-Enrich, one of the most widely researched relationship assessment tools in the world The Prayer Team has responded to over 1300 written prayer requests in With about twenty-two prayer warriors on the team, this represents the power of nearly 30,000 prayers offered up on behalf of those who chose to reach out to our prayer team. We are certainly grateful to be able to serve this community as we do. The key to such service lies in our volunteers, and we can always use more. We would love to have you contact us if you have a heart to serve others battered by the circumstances of life. Timothy P. Fitzgerald, MA, LPCI DIRECTOR, CARE & COUNSELING

25 ON E C H U R CH REACH CONNECT GROW SERVE HONOR 2017 has been another amazing year for my family and me. God continues to amaze me with his blessings. Our plans are small compared to what God wants us to have. HERE ARE A FEW HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2017: We were able to decrease our expenses again in 2017 (2nd year in a row) through November of this year compared to the same time last year by 1.29% or $29, We also spent $160,702 less than we budgeted for through November of Additionally, our tithing increased YOY (year over year) by 1.77% or $38,792. Although we have been diligent in cutting our expenses we still had a shortfall in our projected tithing by $65k through November. We had the opportunity to reach out to several churches over the last several months to benchmark best practices. These churches were similar to us in size, structure and vision and we compared our numbers with theirs. We were able to gather information while reviewing consulting information to help us make adjustments and plan accordingly in We have been able to work with local vendors to minimize some IT cost that will save us $14k per year in 2018 or $70k over the next five years. We continue to track our progress on a weekly/monthly basis and make adjustments where needed. One of our 2018 goals is to have a Legacy Class through Dave Ramsey. The Legacy Journey is a seven-week, biblically based class that teaches you how to truly live and leave a legacy for generations to come. This class will lead you deeper into investing, basic estate planning, purposeful living, safeguarding your legacy, and discovering the keys to generational wealth and true generosity. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small-group activities, you ll learn a biblical framework for living intentionally now so that later you ll be able to leave a legacy that will secure your family s future and make a lasting impact on the world around We have also enjoyed sharing the 2018 Vision plan with the deacons and church counsel. I am privileged to serve on your behalf at Cedar Creek Church and with your continued generosity we will faithfully use the tithing dollars you bless us with to further the kingdom of GOD. In Christ, Multisite Administrator MULTISITE ADMINISTRATOR JIMMY HOWARD
